Join our solidarity by coding
ARD is a social entrepreneurship movement that aims to create an innovative environment that would become the entrepreneurial hub of the revolution, from the people to the people.
After taking part of the revolution protests, talks, events and initiatives we noticed the beautiful energy that exists here yet with the frustration that it accompanies it.
Hence to contribute to the individual, group and decentralized ideas that are cultivated in the abundant setting that the revolution have created, we are calling out for wanna-be entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs, mentors, investors, sponsors and volunteers to join us in this positive revolution!
Hence ARD is organizing a Hackathon turning IN-Revolution ideas to Revolution-supportive solutions.
Our call is one of solidarity and empowerment!
Location: Riad El Solh, Details of Exact Location will be Shared.
Date: wednesday the 30th till Saturday the 1st of November.
The hackathon will be divided into three phases:
- Brainstorming & Ideation
- Planning & Validation
- Execution & Testing
All participants will be introduced to the problems that we are looking to solve. Problems will be put in different categories. Each participant will choose to work on one category. The rest of the day will include:
- Group Selection
- Ideation Canvas & Workshops
- Mentor Matching
The result of the first day will allow everyone that had an idea to transform it into a clear a plan of their solution that they will build and validate in day 2, internally with the mentors and externally with the people of the revolution.
After being able to identify the key values, strength and viability of each project, the group will test with the lean startup methodology, and understand the users’ reaction as well as validate that they are actually solving a real problem. That will be done through:
- Project operational planning
- Data driven validation means
- Mentors review
The second day will end by having an execution pan for each startup revised by the mentors and the partners, as well as a first rough version of their solution (A version 0.1)
The third day will be focusing on having each team a functional MVS (minimum viable solution). Hence each team will dedicate the time on execution purely while having continuous access to mentors in the fields that they need the most.
After launching their solution, they will be accompanied by mentors who are Growth Hacking & Marketing experts that would help them reach as many people as possible and therefore have as much social impact as possible.
Looking forward to see you all.
